Nam D. Pham, Ph. D.
Nam D. Pham is Managing Partner of ndp | analytics, a strategic research and communication firm that specializes in economic analysis of public policy and legal issues. Dr. Pham builds quantitative solutions to tackle his clients’ most pressing policy and legal battles. His expertise in the areas of innovative technology, intellectual property, trade, capital markets, profitability, online lending, small business, and ecommerce has been recognized on national and global levels. Dr. Pham is also an adjunct professor at The George Washington University where he teaches courses in economics, finance, trade, and economic analysis for advocacy. He is frequently cited in the media and a guest speaker at various industry events. Prior to founding ndp | analytics in 2000, Dr. Pham was a vice president at Scudder Kemper Investments in Boston, where he was responsible for research, asset allocations, and currency hedging for global and international bond funds. Before that he was the Chief Economist of the Asia Region for Standard & Poor’s DRI, an economist at the World Bank, and a consultant to both the Department of Commerce and the Federal Trade Commission. Dr. Pham holds a Ph.D. in economics from The George Washington University, an M.A. from Georgetown University, and a B.A. from the University of Maryland. He is a former member of the board of advisors to the Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Maryland, Smith School of Business and a founding board member of the Food Recovery Network.
